Community leaders are wrestling with an under-supply of "affordable" homes in Whitefish to meet the demands of a growing base of low-wage earning workers. Several ideas are being considered: some are market based, and some are government programs. In this seminar we will be discussing initiatives that have succeeded or failed, as well as the importance of avoiding affordable housing programs that violate the immutable laws of economics.
