Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host a Kids Nature Valentine Party at Lone Pine State Park on Saturday, February 13 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.

Come up to Lone Pine and make Valentines for parents, grandparents and friends! Crafts will include Love Bugs, heart valentines, roses and more! Parents are welcome to help their children or make their own valentines. Party includes a sophisticated Hot Cocoa tasting!

This event is geared for children ages 4 to 9. The fee is $4 per child and crafting adult and covers the cost of supplies.

Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface. Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range.
