The Rimers of Eldritch
7:00 PM
FVCC
Description:
Coming to the Flathead Valley Community College Theatre stage this February, “The Rimers of Eldritch” tells the tale of a long-forgotten small town where everyone knows each other’s secrets, desires, and fears, andwhere every person is judged by God and by anyone else they meet. When a local murder occurs, the town is thrown into a tailspin of hypocrisy and mystery.

Director Joe Legate describes “The Rimers of Eldritch” as one of his favorite productions.

“It’s totally different from the plays we’ve done for the past few years,” said Legate. “It’s dramatic and poetic and offers true depth for both myself and the actors.”

Legate says the actors are excited about the challenge that “The Rimers of Eldritch” provides.

“Right now, I’m most excited about watching the process of the actors discovering their characters and bringing them to life,” he said. “These characters have incredible complexity. Fluff characters are fun, but this production offers character development the students can really sink their teeth into.”

Performances of “The Rimers of Eldritch” will take place on February 15, 16, 22, and 23 at 7 p.m. in the FVCC Theatre inside the Arts and Technology Building on the FVCC Kalispell campus. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for senior citizens, and free for students. Advance tickets can be purchased at the FVCC Bookstore in Blake Hall or by calling (406) 756-3814, at Campus Grounds inside the Arts and Technology Building, or online at www.fvcc.edu/fvcctheatre.html. Remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the door prior to show times.
