The Flathead Valley Community College Art Department will host an opening for its Faculty Exhibition March 10. The event will feature original works by college art faculty, including watercolor paintings by Karen Leigh; photography by Peter Hertlein and Marita Combs; oil paintings by Rachel Warner and Susan Guthrie; ceramics by David Regan, Stephen Braun and Brooke Nelson; jewelry by Janet Fischer and Douglas Harling; jewelry photographs by Karen Kolar; acrylic paintings by Brooke Nelson; and a small metal sculpture and a computer generated image by Wayne Hammer.

The reception is free and open to the public and will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Student Art Gallery inside the Arts & Technology building on the FVCC campus. Complimentary refreshments will be provided. The Faculty Exhibition will be open for public view at no charge Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. through April 9.
