This upcoming program features , Bob Keane, Research Ecologist with the USDA Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station and Barry Bollenbacher, Regional Silviculturist with the USDA Forest Service, Northern Region. This presentation will describe some of the historical conditions, likely departure from these conditions and possible approaches to managing western Montana landscapes in the face of climate change. The talk will shed light on possible changes to vegetation, fuels and fire on the landscapes of northwestern Montana.
