Description:
Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) invites you to celebrate the beauty of springtime in Montana with botanist and AmeriCorps volunteer, Dr. Joan West at Lone Pine State Park, April 29th, May 7th, and May 15th.

Come to Lone Pine State Park and witness Montana springtime in action. On Friday, April 29th from 5:30 to 6:30pm, follow Dr. West for the Arbor Day Native Plant Walk as she leads you on an exploration of Lone Pine's native plants and trees. In May, join Dr. West on a Wildflower Walk and expand your knowledge of wildflower identification. Wildflower Walks will be held on Saturday, May 7th from 10am to 11am and on Sunday, May 15th from 1pm to 2pm.

The walks are a moderate pace, up and down inclines, and are approximately a mile in length. Good shoes are recommended. Hikes are conducted on trails making strollers and wagons unusable. The cost for each walk is $4 per person.
