Description:
This spring, join us at Lone Pine State Park for recreation and nature classes that will get your ready for the upcoming summer season. Class topics include: Yoga, Nature Photography, Medicinal Plants, and Outdoor Recreation Skills. Each class is 6 weeks and preregistration is required. Outdoor Recreation Skills – Fridays from 6:00-7:00pm, April 22nd through May 25th
Get outside early to sharpen your outdoor skills! Join us at Lone Pine State Park to learn backpacking skills, canoe camping, outdoor safety and ethics from local park rangers, game wardens and experts who have hiked Glacier National Park, Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Crest Trail! The cost is $50 per person.
Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface. Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range. Furthermore, Lone Pine offers a fantastic variety of educational and interpretive programs.
