Swan Valley Community Hall
Description:
Bud's Place
Fri., May 5th, 7 pm
At Swan Valley Community Hall, Hwy 83, MM 42.5, Condon

District Ranger, soldier, fur trapper, wilderness advocate Bud Moore was all of these. During a long career with the U.S. Forest Service, he was part of most of the key events in the history of conservation and public land management during the 20th century. Later at his sustainable forestry operation in Condon, he walked his talk about the values and virtues of living in harmony with the natural world.

This is Bud's story, told largely in his own words, in a film by his friend George Sibley, who has woven together re-creations, historic films and photographs along with new interviews to paint his portrait of this remarkable man. Bud's son, Bill Moore will be present for a Q&A following the film.
