Want to learn lampworking? Ever wanted to play with molten glass? Here is your chance! Learn to melt glass rods with a hot head torch and mapp gas and wrap that glass onto a mandrel using heat and gravity to make round glass beads. You will also learn to pull stringers (thin glass strings) and use these to decorate you beads with dots, lines and flowers. And, learn about annealing those beads, torch safety, glass terminology and cleaning.

(Class is limited to 4 students ages 16 years and over. Please wear cotton clothes and closed-toed shoes)

Fee: $115 or $105 members, all supplies included.
