The Hockaday Museum of Art's Crits & Croissants forum gives those who create art a chance to have their work reviewed by professionals. Artists 15 years of age and older may bring one or more pieces of their recently created artwork for critique while enjoying coffee and croissants. Participants are invited to join painter Nicholas Oberling on May 14 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM.

Nicholas Oberling's work has been exhibited at the C. M. Russell Museum and is in the permanent collection of the Hockaday Museum of Art. He is a founding member of the Montana Painter's Alliance, and has been a selected quick draw artist and participant at the C. M. Russell Museum's Auction of Western Art, the Whitefish Community Foundation and the Montana Land Reliance and Treasure State Art Auctions. He has been an Artist-in-Residence in Glacier National Park and the Helena National Forest.

Crits & Croissants - A Saturday Morning Artist's Critique is held every 2nd Saturday of the month, September - May in the Hockaday's classroom; participation is free for members, $5 for non-members.
