Description:
Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host “Wildflower Walks” at Lone Pine State Park on Saturdays beginning May 9th through June 13th from 11am to 12pm.

Join a Montana State Parks Ranger every Saturday to experience the changing blossoms along the trails of Lone Pine State Park. If you love Montana's natural flowers then come learn their names and a little botany. Pace of the hike will be moderate and cover about a mile up and down inclines. Good shoes and weather appropriate clothing are recommended. Hikes are conducted on trails making strollers and wagons unusable.

Cost: $4 per person

Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface. Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range. Furthermore, Lone Pine offers a fantastic variety of educational and interpretive programs.
