Historic Film Club screens political comedy Bulworth Description:
When a new wave of populism threatens to leave him behind, Democratic Senator Jay Bulworth (Warren Beatty) decides to upend the entire system. Only by fully embracing his socialist, every-man ideals does Bulworth manage to reinvigorate his political career, finding himself in the process. Also starring Halle Berry and Don Cheadle, this 1998 film (which was also written and directed by Beatty) premiered to some controversy due to its no-holds-barrred commentary on race and inequality.
