Third Annual Garden Tour Scholarship Fundraiser
When: July 22, 2017, 9:30 - 5 p.m. (rain or shine)
Where: Kalispell and Bigfork areas

Proudly hosted by the Flathead County Democratic Women's Club. All of the funds generated from this garden tour benefit the club's college scholarship fund. This past year, the club awarded four academic scholarships of $500 each to Flathead Valley seniors. Scholarships are awarded based on academics, personal values, and financial need and may be used at the college of the graduate's choice.

This year, eight gardens will be open to the public, featuring beautiful horticultural aesthetics and designs with a strong educational component, including sustainable and organic gardening.

Highlights include a market garden and pottery studio, two Asian-inspired gardens, a community garden with a "Plant a Row for the Hungry" and educational gardening handouts from Montana State University, "Gardening as we age....A 25-year-plan." A Mini Garden Fair and Plant Sale will also be included in the tour, with restaurant discounts on tour day, free refreshments, music and prize drawings.

Tickets are $15 per person (children under 14 are admitted free with a paying adult).
