Description:
Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) invites kids to stay engaged and learning this summer with Junior Ranger Club and Pirate Adventure Camp at Lone Pine State beginning in June.

Younger children ages 4 to 7 are invited to join the Junior Ranger Club. Junior Ranger Club is an interactive nature education program that will get your little ones exploring the Montana outdoors. Each session will include story time, a game and a craft. If your little one attends 5 or more of the 6 sessions they will earn an official Montana State Parks Kub Ranger badge.

Junior Ranger Club meets every Friday from 11:00 am-12:00pm from June 24th through July 29th. Cost is $5 per child per session or $24 for the full 6 weeks.

July 15th- Trusty Trees
July 22nd- Furry Forest Friends
July 29th- Bats, Bats, Bats!

Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface. Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range. Furthermore, Lone Pine offers a fantastic variety of educational and interpretive programs.
