Lone Pine State Park Picnic Shelter
Description:
Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host Junior Ranger Day at Lone Pine State Park on Saturday, July 30th form 10am to 12pm.

Our youngest park visitors are invited to earn their official Junior Ranger Badge. Spend the morning taking part in nature activities to become an official member of Montana State Parks community. Get in touch with your senses, see if you jump farther than a mountain lion, and learn about our wonderful state parks. Come explore and learn how you can protect our public lands today and in the future. These guided activities are best suited for children ages 5-11 and promise to be filled with family fun!

Lone Pine State Park is located 5 miles southwest of Kalispell and offers one of the most vivid views of the valley, 7.5 miles of trails, and a beautiful interpretive center that provides information on living in a wildlife urban interface. Additional amenities include a picnic shelter and a community room, which are both available to rent, as well as a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, and an archery range. Furthermore, Lone Pine offers a fantastic variety of educational and interpretive programs.

Visit Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) and enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and more and discover some of the greatest natural and cultural treasures on earth.
