After an amazing launch in 2015, this year’s Rad Ride is planned for Saturday, August 26th, 2017 with ride distances to choose from, up to 46 miles. There's also a great lineup of activities for the kids, a delicious lunch and nonstop fun beginning with a 9 a.m. start time for the longer rides and 9:30 a.m. for shorter distances.

It’s being held at Fun Beverage in south Kalispell again this year, with rides mapped out along the paved Great Northern Historical Trail stretching to Kila. There will be short rides for the kids and long ones for the enthusiasts.

The family-oriented fun ride raises funds for Cancer Support Community Kalispell, newly opened at 37 West Washington Street. Cancer patients, survivors, their families and caregivers find laughter, education, activities and compassionate support at this community-based program of Kalispell Regional Healthcare. The ride honors the memory of our former KRMC Laboratory Director Steve Rademaker, an unquenchable bicycling enthusiast who died of pancreatic cancer in December 2014.
