At Lone Pine State Park
-Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM-

(Kalispell, MT) - Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is partnering with the Montana Conservation Corps to host a volunteer work day for National Public Lands Day at Lone Pine State Park on Saturday, September 27 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.

National Public Lands Day will bring together outdoor enthusiasts across the country for the 21st annual celebration of America's magnificent public lands and its countless supporters and volunteers. Join the celebration by giving back to your local state park, including maintaining trails, adjusting protective tree nets, and sprucing up park grounds. So lace up your sturdiest boots, grab your work gloves, and head on over to this outdoor event! We'll finish the celebration with a free BBQ lunch.
