Lone Pine State Park Visitor Center
Description:
Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) is partnering with the Montana Conservation Corps and the Kalispell Rotary Club to host a volunteer work day for National Public Lands Day at Lone Pine State Park on Saturday, October 1st from 8:30am to 1pm.

National Public Lands Day will bring together outdoor enthusiasts from across the country for the 23rd annual celebration of America's magnificent public lands and its countless supporters and volunteers. Join the celebration by giving back to your local state park. Choose from a variety of projects including maintaining trails, trash removal, and pulling invasive weeds. So lace up your sturdiest boots, grab your work gloves, and head on over to this outdoor event!

Volunteers will meet at Foy's Lake at 8:30am before splitting into work crews and completing projects throughout the park. All skill levels welcome, safety equipment will be provided. As a thank you for all of the hard work, the Kalispell Rotary Club will be providing a complimentary BBQ lunch for all volunteers.
