What is a 1k - 5k color celebration?
The 5k color celebrationfocuses on you havingFUNwith your family and friends. It is a nontimed event -- feel free to walk, run, and even stroll to the finish line. Whatever you do, just haveFUN!

What makes this different from a normal 1k/5k?
All participants start the race in a clean white shirt. At stations throughout the race, you will get doused in different hues of pink and other colors. By the end of the race, you will be a literal rainbow of recognition of your racing prowess. Celebrate with your fellow runners in a color party at the finish line. Prepare yourself for awesomeness.

Who can take part?
Anyone.ANYone. Kids, students, teens, adults, even grandma and grandpa. Bring everyone you know and celebrate life. Your involvement brings awareness to cancer and what you can do to help others learn about their options.

A 5k sounds long. What if I don't want to go that far?
No problem! We've got a 1k, too! Don't worry about the distance, the point here is to enjoy your time with your friends and family and haveFUN!
