Friends Book Group
The Friends book group meets the second Tuesday of the month, September through June. All are invited to join the discussion. This month's selection: K. Ross Toole, "Montana: An Uncommon Land." The book is written with a passion for the state and a disdain for the changes facing the West. Toole gives insightful background on Lewis and Clark, the interaction and conflicts with Native Americans, cattlemen and mining interests.
