Cross-town High School Guitar Show to debut Zino and the Bel Aires.

The bi-annual Cross-town Guitar Show will be held at the Flathead High School Auditorium on Wednesday, NOV 2 at 7:00. The Admission is free.

The evening will begin with performances by local guitar students. Students have selected their own pieces, and will include instrumental solos, folk songs and pop songs.

The second half of the evening will feature the debut of the Flathead Valley's new 1950's band, Zino and the Bel Aires. Guitar instructor, Steven Eckels built the band around Flathead High School English teacher Matt Avanzino who was a professional singer in the San Francisco Bay Area before moving to Kalispell. Zino will be singing songs by Chuck Berry, Frankie Avalon, Danny and the Juniors, Dion and the Belmonts, and others. Other group members include T.J. The Rock Esch on Bass, Cat Daddy Eckels on guitar, Rebecca Nelson on Tenor Sax, and Jeremy Reinbolt on Drums.
