This Wednesday's Tap Night will benefit Project Homeless Connect. Project Homeless Connect is a collaborative effort between Community Action Partnership,Samaritan House, and United Way. This year PHC will be hosting their first Winter Event in January at the Gateway Community Center. Over 60 local agencies and businesses partner to aid the homeless and impoverished in one convenient location.Homelessness and poverty are serious needs in the Flathead Valley, with approximately 500 people homeless, with 45% of this total counting for families with children. Some of the services offered at the event include free Medical and Dental Services, Employment Assistance, Haircuts, Veterans Services, Financial Education Information, Vision Services, Housing Counseling, Senior Services, Food Baskets, etc. Funds raised tonight will help cover the warm lunch that will be served at the event.
