Description:
New Course Explores Basal Dominance Pattern and its Relevance to Behavior
A new course offered through FVCC's Continuing Education Center explores the linkages between behavior and a person's dominant eye, ear, hand, foot and brain hemisphere. Carla Hannaford, Ph.D. is the instructor of the course and the author of "The Dominance Factor: How Knowing Your Dominant Eye, Ear, Brain, Hand & Foot Can Improve Your Learning."
Hannaford asserts that people can learn a lot about themselves and how they respond in stressful situations and relationships by examining their bodies. "The course assists participants to be aware of the wide diversity of dominance patterns, which leads to deeper understanding and effective inter-relationships in the home, school and workspace," said Hannaford.
The course is scheduled for four consecutive Tuesdays, November 8 - 29, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at FVCC. Cost of the course is $95 per person. To register or for more information, visit www.fvcc.edu/continuing-education or call 756-3832.
