Friends Book Group
The Friends book group meets the second Tuesday of the month, September through June. All are invited to join the discussion. This month's selection: "The Cat's Table" by Michael Ondaatje. In the early 1950s, an 11-year-old boy boards a ship bound for England. As the narrative moves between decks and holds of the ship, the book tells of the forbidden discoveries of childhood.
