A series of six Child Development Classes to help parents establish Positive, Effective and Healthy Discipline Practices

SETTING UP FOR SUCCESS

IDENTIFYING AND REFLECTING VALUES
* Identifying your family’s value system
* Rules that reflect health, safety and respect
* Involving children in making family rules
TEACHING DISCIPLINE
* Using conflict as a teaching opportunity
* Building our child’s problem solving “toolbox”
* Healthy models of behavior for your child
EVERY CHILD IS UNIQUE
* Understanding temperament
* Shaping our interactions to our child’s strengths
* Individualized strategies for the unique learner
RESPONDING TO PROBLEMS
