Cycle the Rockies: Energy and Climate Change in Montanaa
12:00 PM    Whitefish Public Library

Description:
A group of energetic university students will share experiences and photos from a bike tour across Montana, exploring our regional energy choices and the impacts of climate change in the Northern Rockies and Great Plains.

This presentation is the culmination of a University of Montana / Wild Rockies Field Institute course entitled "Cycle the Rockies: Energy and Climate Change in Montana.” Students will be completing their journey in Whitefish after a 650-mile, four-week expedition across the state visiting many people and landscapes affected by energy issues and climate change. This event will give participants an up to the minute look at these issues that are so critical to our shared future in Montana.

The presentation will take place in the Whitefish Public Library, 9 Spokane Ave, from 12:00 -1:00 pm with a discussion to follow. Details about the course can be found on the University Montana website where students are submitting daily weblogs about their experiences.
