Rockin' for Ravenwood

Description:
BIGFORK- Rockin’ for Ravenwood, an annual fundraising event for the popular Ravenwood Natural Science Center, takes place this year on Saturday, July 12, at the Rocky Mountain Roadhouse outdoor stage, five miles east of Bigfork at the junction of highways 83 and 209. Missoula based rockers, Secret Powers, and Bitterroot Valley blues and funk sensation, Joan Zen, will have you on your feet all evening after special guest opener Doug Andrews of Sheridan Wyoming warms up the stage. Doors open at 4:00 pm.
This family friendly event supports Ravenwood programs in getting kids outside for hands-on learning adventures.
For sale at the event will be a limited number of raffle tickets for a $1000.00 voucher toward the purchase of a list price 2008 Prius from Kalispell Toyota. The Cuisine Machine will provide a variety of tasty meals, Flathead Lake Brewing Co. beers and Ten Spoon wines will be on tap. Ice cream from The Big Dipper in Missoula and a Magic Forest Kid’s Area will also be available. Local vendors with a focus on sustainable business practices will round out the evening’s offerings.
Come celebrate and enjoy a great evening of music and fun while supporting this valuable community organization with your dancing feet and a generous donation.
