Lone Pine State Park is celebrating National Winter Trails Day by hosting a Cross Country Skiing Workshop. Want to try a new winter sport or build on your current knowledge? Join us and learn the basics of Cross Country Skiing from experienced ski instructor Lou Albershardt. Participants will meet at the Lone Pine State Park Visitor Center for the class room portion and then travel to Herron Park for skiing practice. Pre-registration is required for this $10 class. To register call Kim at 755-2706 ext. 2. Bring your own skis and equipment or rent equipment to bring and dress in warm clothes. The workshop is open to adults 16 years and older.
