Evaluating the Impact of your Programs
11:30 AM    The Museum at Central School

Description:
Nonprofits strive to change the world, their community, and individual lives. In an era of shrinking resources and increased competition, we are under increased pressure to "prove it". How do you demonstrate that what you do matters? How do you measure and communicate the value of your work? This workshop will help you:

Become familiar with terms related to measuring impact and outcomes
Understand the difference between process evaluation and outcome evaluation
Discuss the benefits and limitations of an outcome-focused approach to evaluation
Identify some potential outcome measurements for your programs
Learn how to collect data and stories that help show your impact

About the presenter:

Ned Cooney serves as Program Director for the Nonprofit Development Partnership, which provides education, information and networking for nonprofits in the Flathead region. Ned also works as a facilitator and consultant specializing in organizational and strategic planning, leadership support, board development, and meeting facilitation. Currently, Ned is serving as a member of the Nonprofit Public Policy Council.
