Back in Whitefish after a sold-out performance in 2006, the Wailin’ Jennys is one of the most exciting new folk bands around. Fueled by honeyed three part harmonies, they can make new songs feel traditional and old songs sound brand new. These darlings of North American roots music arena have appeared on Garrison Keiller’s A Prairie Home Companion as well as performed internationally. “Sharp and sensitive songs with attitude,” is the trademark of the Wailin’ Jennys, says James Reaney of The London Free Press.
