The Bigfork/Ferndale Community Garden will present it's first winter workshop Saturday, Dec. 8th at 10AM. Master Gardener, MonaRae Tuhy will present "Growing Your Own Microgreens". Microgreens may be tiny, but they've become a huge trend found everywhere from corner bistros to plastic-wrapped at the grocery store. And if you've taken a look at the prices, they are not cheap! The good news is that it's easy to grow your own microgreens, indoors or out.
Join us this Saturday at St. Patrick's Church, located on Highway 209 at the blinking light, across from the Ferndale Fire Dept. Sign-ups for next year's plots will be accepted. We are a SNAP Garden! More Info, call Michelle at 837-0982.
