Swan Valley Photo Contest Slideshow

Description:
Northwest Connections, the Swan Ecosystem Center, The Trust For Public Land and other partners will host a slideshow presentation of the Swan Lands 2008 Photo Contest entries on Thursday, June 12th, 7:00 p.m. at the Swan Valley Community Hall. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The contest was open to all photographers regardless of age or residence. All photographers including locals, non-residents, amateurs, and professionals were encouraged to submit photographs. Images were judged on artistic merit, composition, originality and overall impact.
The purpose of the Swan Lands 2008 Photography Contest was to gather images of local people and places in the Swan Valley. Submitted images may be used to support ongoing efforts to conserve land and its resources, while maintaining the forest-based economies and rural lifestyles of the Swan Valley.
