After School Art Classes
Ages 7 - 14
Classes meet on Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:50 pm
(Sessions begin with a 15 minute "free drawing" period, so students will not miss key instruction time if they arrive by 3:45 pm)
Paper, paint, markers, crayons, and glue are just the beginning of our art adventures. Pre-school artists and their adult helpers will share fun art projects that encourage creativity and develop basic art skills.
Mixed Media Exploration
November 27, December 4, 11, 18
Create two-and three-dimensional art pieces, exploring color, pattern and texture. Young artists will gain an appreciation and understanding of art history in a fun and creative way as they experiment with many art materials and techniques. Students will turn their ideas into works of art that will be their very own collage, mosaic, and sculptural masterpieces!
Cost for 4-session class: Museum members/$25, Non-members/$30
