Meeting Place: Field Camp at Glacier National Park
Envelop yourself in the natural world where you can nibble on native berries, sip root tea, use plant materials to make your own rope and create natural dyes. This two day class will teach you how to identify, use and experiment with some of our local plant foods and raw materials. We will be making plant fiber cordage (rope), learn how to use natural dyes to color our cordage, and sample delicacies like lodge pole syrup and dandelion root coffee. All harvesting will be done outside of the Park.
