Description:
The Whitefish Whiteout is a race in the European Randonee tradition. Competitors will skin up the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort, remove their skins and descend the most challenging terrain that conditions permit. The course will take competitors on an up and down route throughout the permit area of the mountain.
The Whitefish Whiteout is part of the national US Ski Mountaineering series (race updates and additional information will be available at www.USSMA.org or www.cosmicski.com), and is also connected to the Skin to Win race at Bridger Bowl creating a Montana State Championship.
This event is open to anyone who wants to enter any of the categories.
New this year is an "Ascend Only" route. Get your heart rate up as you go straight up Toni Matt and finish strong at the top.
