The public is invited to a free open house at The University of Montana's Flathead Lake Biological Station located on the East Shore of Flathead Lake (Highway 35), 17.5 miles north of Polson or 14 miles south of Bigfork.

The open house is scheduled for Friday, July 11, 2008, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  This is a great opportunity to visit the Station.  Come learn about Flathead Lake and enjoy special activities offered only during open house.

Take a guided nature walk or a demonstration boat trip on the Research Vessel, Jessie B.  Stroll around the grounds and review project displays. Meet students, professors and staff and learn more about what we do here at this great research and educational facility.
