Godspell

Description:
BPCT is proud to present the rock musical GODSPELL with music by Stephen Schwartz (composer of the musical Wicked). Godspell is the archaic Old English spelling of the word gospel and literally means good news. It is an extraordinary tale of people being reborn and finding hope. Audiences will be impressed with the different telling of each story and the way that the actors represent each of the many parables as told in the book of Matthew. Best of all, it shows the redemptive love of Jesus and what he was willing to do for us, whilst showing that Christ’s principles have values even today. Godspell is “edu-tainment” taking an audience from the forming of Jesus’ disciple community through the passion.
Songs include: Prepare Ye, Day by Day, Bless The Lord, All Good Gifts and Turn Back O Man with live musicians playing for the performances
