Learn how to create drawings that are true to life. If you have ever attempted to draw and found yourself frustrated and unable to "capture" your subject, this drawing class is for you. We are going to work on the fundamentals of representational drawing, and learn how to create the illusion of three dimensions in a two dimensional plane. We will explore value, line, form, and the use of light to create the illusion of depth and perspective. We will explore the basic concepts of proportion and measuring to create accurate renderings.
This drawing class will either hone the drawing skills you already have or teach you drawing skills you have always wanted. If you are already engaged in painting, this class will give you the skills you need and allow for more flexibility and creativity in your work!
