Learn to Knit

Description:
Learn the fundamentals: casting on, knitting, purling, binding off, decreasing, and reading a pattern while making a hat or a scarf (or both)… Our highly trained staff will have you knitting like a pro in no time at all!
SESSIONS: 2 Sessions
Part 1 - Wed - May 21, 2008 - 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
Part 2 - Wed - May 13, 2009 - 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
LEVEL: No experience necessary
SKILLS COVERED: All the basics: casting on, knitting, purling, binding off, decreasing, and pattern interpretation. Students who choose to make the hat will learn to knit in the round.

MATERIALS: Yarn and needles for chosen project ~ stop by the Knit 'n Needle pre-course for personalized help in chooing materials.
