Description:
The dancers will be performing traditional Scottish Highland dances such as: Flora McDonald’s Fancy, Ghillie Cullum Sword Dance, Sailor’s Hornpipe, Irish Jig, Seann Triubhas, and the Highland Fling. Dancers will also do some modern Scottish choreography. In between the dance numbers, Society members will share cultural and historical information about Celtic peoples and the dance-styles presented.
