Diane K. Boyd, PhD, Wildlife Biologist and local author will be our guest speaker. Diane is a wolf & carnivore specialist and scientist for northwestern Montana wolf recovery efforts. She will share her four-decade-long career working alongside these magnificent creatures and take us on a journey from the US border in Canada to Mexico and places in-between. Diane has penned a personal memoir to be published in September 2024 by Greystone Books.


Join us as Diane shares her triumphs and heartbreaks as one of the first female wolf and carnivore specialists in the US, and how she paved her way in the late 70’s until her retirement in 2019.


Diane is now in the final stages of the publishing process (book cover, title, blurbs, etc.). She will discuss her progression and what’s in store for the next nine months.
