to host Annual Crop Production Update and Winter Meeting

The Northwestern Ag Research Center will hold its annual Winter Meeting on January 13, 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell, MT. The event features speakers from across the state who will be presenting on the following topics:

•Winter canola potential in Northwestern MT cropping systems: Dr. Clint Beiermann, Northwestern Ag. Research Center-MSU
•Three years of research of various alfalfa dormancy & nutrient and water use: Dr. Jessica Torrion, Northwestern Ag. Research Center -MSU
•Using N and P fertilizer efficiently to maximize profit: Dr. Clain Jones, Land Resources and Environmental Sciences-MSU
•Spring wheat breeding update: Dr. Jason Cook, Plant Science and Plant Pathology-MSU
•Impact of N and water inputs to warm-season forages: Dr. Jessica Torrion, Northwestern Ag. Research Center -MSU
•Managing weeds on Montana rangeland: Dr. Jane Mangold, Land Resources and Environmental Sciences-MSU
•Spring wheat weed management: Dr. Clint Beiermann, Northwestern Ag. Research Center -MSU

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9.00 am and conclude at 3.00 pm.
