Dale and Richard each look at and interpret the rural landscape with very different approaches and results.

Richard Thompson’s Patchwork Prairies series reworks perspective and horizon in colorful representations of rural America.

The Montana landscape inspires Dale Beckman. His Makoshika series was painted en plein air from photographs taken from the state park near Glendive, Montana.

Together, these two artists provide unique interpretations of landscape, slowly revealing their peaceful message to the viewer.
