Legislative Advocacy 101 Description:
Come join Wild Montana for an in-person training in Kalispell, and learn how to be a strong grassroots advocate for public lands during Montana’s 2025 legislative session!

The Montana Legislature convened at the start of January. We’re standing on guard to defeat radical efforts to transfer public lands, slash crucial public lands funding, and more before it’s all over. Wild Montana will continue to defend Montana’s clean air, clean water, and healthy public lands, but we can’t do it alone.

The good news is that YOU can help protect our wild public lands and waters from anti-public lands legislators. It starts with knowing how to make a difference.

During this advocacy training, we’ll share the challenges and opportunities facing our public lands and discuss how you can be an effective public lands advocate. We’ll share knowledge and resources to make it easy to testify virtually and in person, the most effective ways to contact your legislators about specific bills, and more.

We hope to see you there!
