Jeannette Rankin: American Conscience Description:
Whitefish Community Library hosts a Montana Conversations program: “Jeannette Rankin: American Conscience” featuring Mary Jane Bradbury on Friday, Feb. 21 at 6:30 p.m., at the Library.

Acting as Ms. Rankin, Bradbury tells about the famous Montanan’s journey from grassroots suffragist to being the first woman elected to Congress.
The program is free and open to the public. It is provided by a grant from Humanities Montana, and sponsored by the Whitefish Library Association.
Mary Jane Bradbury brings history to life for audiences of all ages. She is an artist in residence for the CM Russell Museum in Great Falls and the Montana Historical Society in Helena.
