All these questions and more will be discussed as we explore the environment around Big Creek, digging snow pits, taking measurements, and understanding the nivean world around us.
NOTE: While this program will discuss characteristics of snow and weather that are pertinent to avalanche safety, this is not a substitute for an actual avalanche awareness course.
