A well planned website is an important part of your online presence and keeping it fresh does not have to be a chore. In this hands-on class we will use WordPress to setup an entire website, create pages, add links to other websites, post new content, and edit or delete content. Easily allow multiple authors and editors, and keep the content protected. Learn how simple it is to maintain your content but change the entire look of your site in just minutes, apply widgets to increase usability, and add functionality with plugins. Also discussed will be advanced customizations of templates and the differences between WordPress and a more full featured content management system such as Joomla. Recommended: Participants are encouraged to take CMPA9300A "Preparing Images for Print and Web" prior to taking this class.
