Pricing Your Art or Handmade Products (2 sessions) If you are an artist, a chef, a baker, a craftsperson, or create products to sell, this two-session class is perfect for you. Whether you sell directly to the public, if you sell on consignment or wholesale, or if you sell through galleries, restaurants, or retail stores, you must learn how to calculate prices for your products. Session 1 introduces you to the idea of a pricing formula and how you will develop one that is unique for your business. In this session, you will identify all the things you need to know to figure out prices. In Session 2 you will learn how to determine profit margins and calculate the costs for your product types whether you sell one-of-a-kind items or if you produce many of the same thing. You will also evaluate the costs as they compare to competitive pricing. Session 2 will also review each participant's price model for completeness. All sessions are highly interactive and Q&A is welcome!
