Join us for a DREAM Weekend – Two incredible ways to support Outdoor Recreation for All!

DREAM Adaptive Recreation has been committed to making outdoor recreation accessible & inclusive for 35 years! Join us for a DREAM Weekend, with proceeds supporting our year-round adaptive programs.

The Snow Ball Gala will take place on March 6th from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Featured is a beef tenderloin or salmon dinner, no host bar, silent and live auctions, music by Halladay and Rob Quist, keynote Montana native, adaptive X Games Medalist, Kevin Michael Connolly and MC Janice Lake. Rooms are available for reservation through February 6th and can be booked directly at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Please mention you’re with Dream Adaptive. Snow Ball tickets are $85 per person, $160 per couple and $625 for a table of eight.

For those looking for a bit more action, the fun-filled SHRED-a-Thon is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, March 7th at Whitefish Mountain Resort. The first annual vertical challenge will boast a high-energy atmosphere surrounding the DREAM Shack in the Spruce Lot. Form a team or fundraise as an individual to join in the fun. Build your own fundraising page through DREAM’s website and work you magic! A light breakfast and a delicious food-truck lunch will be served up at the Shack with awards for the most vertical feet skied or boarded in multiple categories, prizes for most funds raised, awesome raffles, giveaways and more. Come out and SHRED the love!

Your support at these events will empower individuals of all ages with cognitive and physical disabilities through outdoor recreation. Current programs include Alpine Ski & Snowboard lessons at Whitefish Mountain Resort, the advanced Backcountry Powder Camp in partnership with Great Northern Powder Guides, Nordic Skiing in partnership with Glacier Nordic Club, Mountain Biking, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and Watersports days full of waterskiing, wake boarding, wake surfing and more.

Please Welcome Kevin Michael Connolly for the Dream Weekend
Kevin Michael Connolly was born without legs in Helena, Montana. An extreme sports fanatic and global adventurer, Kevin became a bestselling author, actor and X-Games medalist before he turned 30 years old.

After graduating from Helena High School in 2004, Kevin began attending Montana State University. On his return home from a year abroad, Kevin was skateboarding down a backstreet in Vienna and took his first prototype photo for what would become the The Rolling Exhibition.

The Rolling Exhibition is an art exhibit of over 33,000 photos that took Kevin to 31 countries as he documented the stares and reactions from others around the world. His photography work has been featured in the Smithsonian Institute, ABC’s 20/20, NPR, BBC, Yahoo! News and National Geographic.

At the age of 23, Kevin began work on his memoir, “Double Take,” which chronicles his early life, as well as his journey working on The Rolling Exhibition. “Double Take” has been published in three languages; garnered rave reviews in US outlets (“People Magazine,” “Outside Magazine,” and the “TODAY Show”); and is being developed into a feature film by Groundswell Productions.

Connolly’s desire for adventure was featured in Travel Channel’s 2014 original series, “Armed & Ready,” where he created prosthetics to solve obstacles posed to many active amputees. Kevin currently lives and works in Helena, Montana.
