The Montana Troubadour Series presents Michael Martin Murphey with Rob and Halladay Quist and the Flathead's rising artist, Alea Leilani. Michael Martin Murphey will be making up his postponed November concerts on Monday April 2 and Tuesday April 3 at 7:00 pm. Those who purchased tickets for the Monday, Nov 6 show will be honored on Monday, April 2 and tickets purchased for the Tuesday Nov 7 show will be honored on Tuesday April 3. Michael Martin Murphey is an American singer/songwriter best known for writing and performing western music, country music and popular music. A multiple Grammy nominee, and music Hall of Famer, Murphey has six gold albums, including Cowboy Songs, the first album of cowboy music to achieve gold status since Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs by Marty Robbins in 1959. He has recorded the hit singles "Wildfire", "Carolina in the Pines", "What's Forever For", "A Long Line of Love", "What She Wants", "Don't Count the Rainy Days", and "Maybe this Time". Murphey is also the author of New Mexico's state ballad, "the Land of Enchantment". Murphey has become a prominent musical voice for the Western horseman, rancher, and cowboy.

Rob and Halladay Quist-Everyone knows and loves this Cut Bank Montana native and his equally talented daughter Halladay. His songs have been recorded by artists Michael Martin Murphey and Loretta Lynn among others. Rob is known as a musical and cultural ambassador for the the state of Montana and was appointed to the Montana Arts Council by Governer Brian Schweitzer. he has toured extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Japan with the famed Mission Mountain Wood Band.

Alea Leilani-A 15-year-old rising singer/songwriter from the Flathead Valley, Alea Leilani is no stranger to the stage. A winner of the Texaco Country Showdown for Northwestern Montana in 2015 and as a Crown Guitar Festival scholarship recipient, she worked with legendary artist John Oates of famed Hall and Oates. She later traveled to Nashville to hone her songwriting talents with Bob Regan, former president of the Nashville Songwriters Association; wrote and recorded with the late, great A.J. Masters as well as worked with Buddy Owens and Gord Bamford of Ole Publishing and performed at the renown Bluebird Café in Nashville. Watch for upcoming performances this summer around the Flathead.
